For Beginners

If you are at this page, we hope it means you are interested in learning more about playing the Chemnitzer Concertina. This is where your journey begins. You should come to a gathering of the Twin Cities Concertina Circle, a group of beginner, intermediate and advanced players who are eager to share what they know. The Concertina Circle is a high fun, low pressure and FREE. There are no business meetings, agendas or public performances. We come together to play our boxes and share our talents. The more advanced players are there to help the beginners. We all play the easy songs together. There will be opportunities for advanced players to perform a song for the group, but a good chunk of our time will be making music as a group. For fun.

If you want to join us, please contact Patrick Boulay at pboulay11@gmail.com to get times and dates for the Twin Cities Concertina Circle jams.
